Story Time

I was born at Ft. Benning, GA back in 1987 and had the opportunity to attend Kindergarten and 1st grade in Frankfurt, Germany. I lot of things have led up to where I am at today. Injuries, hardships, trials, and successes, have all paved the way to where I am and who I am today. My parents live in Lansing, KS, where I have been raised. I have had the opportunity to do many things in life that most never get in their lives. Being that this story could take all day long, I will keep in simple and just focus on how all of this has shaped my mindset. Being able to travel around the country and see so many different aspects of life I have gained a greater understanding of the way the world works. I believe that people have the power to do anything that they want, the problem is that most people get confused or lose focus through some of the trials and tribulations that they face. Living in a bad area, not having money, parents that don't care, and many other things play a factor in who people grow up to be. It takes a very tough person mentally to be able to overcome the hardships of life. Most people are not that tough and that is why things in the school system and life in general have not changed for quite some time. The students that I have met over the years have been willing to learn and find ways out of the lives they are living, they just don't know how to do it because that is all they know and there is noone to help them escape. That is the reason that I felt being an educator would be a good fit for my life. I enjoy helping the students and helping people in general find better lives and giving them the resources to succeed. Being an educator is a blessing because on a daily basis you can change the lives of all of the young minds around you. Hopefully the influence that I will have on the students will be known many years down the road.
